唐正东，男，1967年8月生，江苏省常熟市人。现为大通彩票教授，博士生导师，教育部“长江学者”特聘教授（2014年度）。分别于1987、1990、1997年毕业于大通彩票，获哲学学士、哲学硕士、哲学博士学位。1990年7月留校任教，2003年11月任教授。2010年9月至2019年11月任哲学系主任。2002年入选“教育部优秀青年教师资助计划”，2004年入选“教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划”，2005年入选“江苏省宣传文化系统五个一批人才”，2011年入选江苏省第四期“333高层次人才培养工程”（第二层次）培养对象，2014年入选“全国优秀博士学位论文指导教师”，2015年入选中宣部文化名家暨“四个一批”人才，2016年入选国家高层次人才特殊支持计划哲学社会科学领军人才。迄今在核心期刊发表学术论文140多篇，出版著作10多部（含译著及合著），主持国家社科基金重大项目、教育部重大课题攻关项目等研究课题10多项，获得教育部人文社科优秀成果二等奖、江苏省哲学社会科学优秀成果一等奖等学术奖励10多项。现兼任国务院学位委员会第八届哲学学科评议组成员、教育部高等学校哲学类专业教学指导委员会秘书长、江苏省哲学学会会长等职。
